Dear Superintendent and Trustee
I am writing as a parent/guardian of a student at Monsignor O’Neill Catholic School to formally express concern regarding ongoing issues related to safety communication, leadership clarity, and overall confidence in the school’s administrative structure.
Over the past two years, multiple safety-related incidents and communication delays have contributed to growing uncertainty among families. The recent leadership absence has further highlighted the need for clear, stable, and transparent oversight within the school.
While we recognize that personnel matters are complex and often private, parent confidence has been significantly impacted. In order to restore trust and stabilize the school environment, I respectfully request that the Board take the following actions:
Appoint stable, dedicated acting leadership through the remainder of the school year to ensure continuity and clear decision-making authority.
Provide a written safety and communication protocol outlining how serious incidents will be reported to families moving forward.
Initiate a formal review of reporting timelines and communication practices to ensure transparency and accountability.
Our goal is not conflict, but restoration of confidence, stability, and a safe learning environment for all students.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to understanding what steps will be taken to address these concerns.
