We’re now over 820 signatures strong—and climbing every day! Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, and stood up for the safety of our firefighters and the people of Red Deer.

But we’re not done yet.

Please keep sharing this petition any way you can—text it to your friends, email it to your coworkers, post it on your social media. Every signature counts. Every voice matters.

Just one day ago, our department reached a milestone. But it’s not one to be celebrated.

Since January, Station 2—which serves some of Red Deer’s busiest and most vulnerable neighborhoods—has now been either shut down or critically under-resourced for the 25th time.  And in fact the very next day that number rose to 26

Twenty-Six times that a fire hall didn’t have the staff to respond safely or at all.

Twenty-Six times that our community was left exposed.

Twenty-Six times too many.

This is a crisis that is impacting Red Deer Emergency Services right now—and the consequences are being felt by the citizens they serve every single day. But make no mistake: if our city can get away with dangerously understaffing our Emergency Services, your community could be next.

We cannot allow that to happen.

Let’s keep the pressure on. Let’s keep growing this movement. Let’s make it loud enough that no one can ignore us.

Sign. Share. Speak up.

For safety. For accountability. For change.
