Thank you so much for yesterday (Saturday 2 May) afternoon, Tullamarine Community! It was great to meet and chat with so many along Melrose Drive and talk about the importance of restoring the original name to our War Memorial Hall :)
Due to their governance rules, Hume City Council requires physical petitions and signatures in addition to any electronic petition. A physical petition has been set up within multiple shops along our Melrose Drive and will be available for residents to sign over the coming 2 weeks.
A big thank you to Melrose Pizza, Core Pharmacy, Devine Bakehouse, Floral Creations, Tullamarine Fish & Chips, Tullamarine Newsagent, and Tullamarine Toys and Hobbies for their support.
Furthermore, thanks to the players, members, and supporters of Tullamarine Football Club for signing the physical petition at their away game on Jacana Reserve late this afternoon.
It would be great if you're able to sign the physical petitions in our shops, but if you're interested, the electronic petition (see my previous post) is still available for residents to sign
