New sign at the entrance to the Station Car and Coach Park

This is Derbyshire Dales District Council's answer to the lack of any coach parking in the village becuase they have designated the coach park a TTTS. 

Put in the post code and where does it take you? To an area in the next village 1.7 miles away. Is there a suitable coach park there? It is Cromford Meadows car park and there may be a space or not as there is no designated coach parking spaces. Will the passengers be able to walk to Matlock Bath - if they are fit and healthy and have plenty of time.

So it clearly is NOT the answer. Why, when you have a perfectly good coach park, would you think this is acceptable? Is this the way to encourage coach pasasengers back to Matlock Bath? I think we all know the answers to these questions. 

Car drivers could also use this car park if all spaces at the station car park are taken. But again why park in the next village 1.7 miles away when you came to visit Matlock Bath

Come on Derbyshire Dales, do the honorable thing and give us back our coach and car parking when you eventually meet to make a decision - and not try to fob us off with stupid alternatives. 

To make sure they do, let's have alot more signatures on the petition!!
