Firstly news on the extra travellers and the loss of a further 39 spaces. They are still in situ and look like being there for at least the opening weekend of the illuminations. More parking issues for both coach and car passengers.

The advice for coaches bringing parties to the illuminations - as the coachpark is closed - is to drop off and pick up passengers parking on the main road - which will already be congested - and then go to either Cromford Wharf or Matlock - where you may find a parking space!!

This is a local authority who in their local plan are encouraging tourism!! Some encouragement here. 

Signatures to the petition are slowing - only 5 in the last 2 days. Please circulate details to all your contacts and remind those you have already informed to sign.
