We are just 10 days from the opening night of this year's Matlock Bath Illuminatons when thousands flock to the village on Saturday and Sunday nights to see the unique sight of the illuminated boats on the river Derwent in the picturesque setting of Derwent Gardens - full details at https://www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/leisure/matlock-bath-illuminations 

But where will the coaches park?? Sorry - not in the village as the coach park is otherwise occupied!! So are 22 of the valuable car parking spaces that visitors would like to use. If you were intending to come by coach or car, please let DDDC know your feelings at travellers@derbyshiredales.gov.uk 

Progress has only been steady in the last 48 hours so please remind all you social media  contacts that signing this petition is important. It often takes 2 or 3 reminders for some. Also we have had reports of people who think they have signed have not verified their email address. This is a must and sometimes the verification email goes into junk!!
