As you can see the petition is featured in an article in today’s Standard. Hopefully this will get the number of signatories up quite a bit. Keep sharing and asking your friends and anybody likely to be helped by having an evening bus service to sign it.

I’ll give it a few weeks before I print it off and hand it in. I will be replying to the comments made in the paper by Stagecoach buses and will get in touch with their national managers. I will also reply to the lazy and smug remarks made by the Council and it’s dreadful transport arm, Swestrans, or should it be Swizzletrans, to remind them that they are largely elected by us to look after their constituents’ interests and if any of them want our votes in UK, Scottish and especially local council elections they can be assured we will give them maximum publicity if they don’t support us.
