Dear 120,815 of you!

We’re launching a really important action today and we need your help!

The Government continue to tell us that the cartoons in asylum centres are not “age-appropriate”. This fails to recognise the 9300 under-14s that arrived in the UK just last year. And fails to recognise how in that moment where a child may be feeling frightened or confused, even a small token of comfort could make a difference.

We have over 120,000 people behind our campaign who care. That’s powerful and we’ve been thinking about how we use that power to make a difference - regardless of the Government's stance.

We’re starting by sending 9300 cartoon postcards to children arriving into the UK. A postcard to represent each of those children. To say that we see you. And that you deserve better.

The postcards are a selection of those designed by you as part of the draw action. And the messages were crafted by you too!

Will you select a message to send and add your name to a postcard?

We’ve teamed up with FindOthers.com and here is how to get involved!

And The Refugee Council are supporting us by distributing the postcards, so they can bring hope to where it is needed most.

Our campaign will continue campaigning to bring the cartoons back. But in the meantime, through this postcard campaign, we can restore some kindness and care.

PS.  And another big shoutout to children at City of Sanctuary UK schools who inspired us with this action!

Thank you for all your submissions on drawings, messages etc. Whilst we have only been able to use a few here, we will keep using others in our campaigning efforts!
