I recently went to Washington D.C. to participate in a demonstration for the young elephants that were taken from the wild in Zimbabwe to live out their lives in a Chinese zoo.
One of the speakers at the demonstration was Adams Cassinga, a wildlife criminal investigator who lives in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In the short video, Adams shares with us why elephants are so important to our planet. The message is simple; elephants are known as the gardeners of the forest. The pure presence of elephants in the wild maintain the ecosystem because they disperse seeds while walking, and by doing so, plant trees along the way which helps to provide oxygen for life on earth.
The 896,000 signatories of this petition know how important the presence of elephants are to this planet. Please continue to be a voice for elephants and share this petition update! Our voices shall be LOUD and HERD!
Thank you for your continued support!
With gratitude,
