Campaign Update: Construction Underway — We’re Almost There!

Hello everyone,

My name is Sare Aydogan, and I started this campaign about a year ago. Thank you all so much for your continued support.

With your help, this campaign has made a real impact. I had the opportunity to meet with Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, Assembly Member Alec Brook-Krasny, Council Member Justin Brannan, and Council Member Inna Vernikov. I would especially like to thank Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and Council Member Inna Vernikov for their efforts and support.
I am very grateful to all of them for their time and commitment.

Along the way, I worked hard to raise awareness. We put up signs, created a campaign video (filmed by my mom—special shoutout to her!), reached out to the media, and I was even able to get our story on the news.

I’m excited to share some great news: construction has already started a few weeks ago! It’s amazing to finally see real progress happening at the playground. Based on the latest updates, the project is expected to be completed within the next few weeks.

Seeing the construction in progress makes all the hard work feel worth it. We are truly close to the finish line.
