2026 Election candidates! Download the Questionnaire and follow the instructions to be listed as a rail corridor champion on the RIRS website. Over 43,500 voters want to know your position on the railway,  including the one that sent this email.

In a recent interview with CFAX 1070, petitioner and founder of Restore Island Rail Society, Warren Skaalrud, outlined what the society is doing for the 2026 election. Responses to the questionnaire can be seen on the election 2026 page. 

For petition signers, help us get this questionnaire in front of candidates. There are over 60 races going on in the 5 regional districts that the corridor passes through, which is a lot of candidates!  We don't want to miss any.  If you forward this email as you see people announce their candidacy, we will be less likely to miss any.  And, if they receive it more than once, they'll know it's important to voters!
