The Federal government heard the call! They are in a position to drive this forward but the BC Government is dragging its feet. We need to email the Premier and the BC Minister of Transportation and Transit!

Did you see that the news is reporting that municipal politicians are optimistic about light rail coming to the region? That's happening because we've all been putting pressure on senior levels of government.

While our communities sit in increasingly horrible traffic and our rail corridor sits idle, our BC Minister of Transportation and Transit does nothing.

Mike Farnworth, and David Eby need a wakeup call.  They are losing the island's support as we saw in the last provincial election.  Destroying our beloved rail corridor would certainly be the nail in the coffin. 

Please write them and insist they work with the Federal Government to bring rail travel back to Vancouver Island.
