An important update to petition supporters reluctant to sign the official Petition to the House of Commons.  It has been confirmed by the Clerk of Petition's that Access to your Information is under Privileged Access Only.

I've had quite a few people come to me with concerns about having to provide a phone number to sign the official Petition to the House of Commons aiming to Restore Vancouver Island Rail. 

From the Clerk of Petitions "It is only a small number of non-partisan House of Commons employees with security clearance who are able to view any of the information for the purposes of processing and certifying petitions. The House also maintains a policy of data destruction in this domain at intervals of every 6 months or earlier."
