Hi everyone,

Believe it or not, prior to today, I had never actually visited Hayden Speedway. This was mainly because it has been closed for the past 6 years, and I didn't have time to go check it out. However, I was finally able to visit it today, and I must say, I was rather disappointed with the condition the place is in. 

First, there is really tall grass sticking out of the dirt and even snow across the entire track. Second, The stands, press box, and flag stand are in very poor condition and nearly dilapidated. Lastly, it looks as though there is lots of trash and possibly even vandalism in the press box area.

Despite the lack of care to the facility, don't let it fool you into thinking there will never be another race here again. If we can get enough signatures and get the idea presented to the Town of Hayden, Colorado, then we could possibly get the speedway to receive restoration by the town! Therefore, I will likely rename this petition to "Restore and Bring Back Hayden Speedway". 

Be sure to continue signing and sharing this petition to others. The more signatures we receive, the more likely Hayden, Colorado is to get dirt track racing once again!
