At the Hamilton County Commissioner meeting today, 12/17/25, it was voted to extend the temporary time to two meetings in January. 

The councilmen were responsive to my urgings to keep the later time, but talked of all the 'red tape' type obstacles to keep this time. 

Res. No. 1225-28 passed: "A Resolution amending Resolution No. 925-17 to extend the temporary 4:00 P.M. start time of County Commission Meetings for the January 14, 2026 and January 21, 2026 meetings, at which time the County Commission will assess whether to implement this time change permanently."

If you are available to show up at 4pm to the Georgia Ave Courthouse on the 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of January 2026, please do. Come show them that we want this change!
