“Ontario’s Premier should allow voters to fire provincial politicians who behave badly.” In a private member’s bill Hillier proposed in 2013, he called for voters to be allowed to recall a politician if they get the support of at least 25 percent of the people who voted in the last election. In Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston, that magic number is just over 12 thousand voters. We are more than halfway there thanks to your support! Though this bill never passed, we can still hold Mr. Hillier accountable to his own ideals.
