Update to Petition: Call for Lindsay Dahlheimer’s Resignation
We’ve secured a major victory! At last night’s Republican Caucus, a significant step forward was made in our ongoing efforts to hold Board of Education (BOE) member and Chair Lindsay Dahlheimer accountable. John Mennone was not endorsed, and crucially, Lindsay Dahlheimer was not placed on the slate. The current slate stands strong with Dave Thody, Carl Stoup, and Debra Osvald.
While this is a win, our work is far from over. The fight to overturn the indemnification remains critical, and we must continue to apply pressure to the Board to ensure that Lindsay Dahlheimer is removed from her position as Chair — especially given the ongoing lawsuit against her.
Her actions have been shown to be personal in nature and not in the interest of the Board of Education. This lawsuit reflects her own interests, not those of the district, and it’s time she steps aside. We cannot afford to let her remain in a position of power, especially while these legal matters hang over the Board’s integrity.
Here’s what we need from you:
Keep up the pressure: Continue emailing the Board of Education and demand Lindsay Dahlheimer’s resignation. Be clear that her actions are personal, and she should no longer represent our children, schools, or community.
Attend Board meetings: Your presence at these meetings is critical. The more we show up, the louder our collective voice becomes.
Spread the word: Encourage others to sign the petition and to take action. Every voice matters in this movement.
We are making progress, but this battle is not won until Lindsay Dahlheimer is removed from her position. Do not give up. Do not stop. The momentum is on our side, and together, we will see this through.
Keep fighting! Keep showing up!
