Glenview Strong Farmer's Market (Late 2021 or 2022)

Hello All,

Thanks for signing my petition.  It sure does put wind in my sails.

Since Monday, the original Nextdoor post, we have received over 100 hearts and more than 120 comments.  WOW.

I have spoken to Roxanne who ran the Wagner Farm Market for years before the transition to the Park District and I spoke today to Janie Maxwell, she runs the Illinois Farmer's Market Association.  I have also spoken to some long-time Farmer's Market vendors.

Rather than add 'The Glen' I have decided to leverage the Cali Strong imagery.  I am preparing an Assumed name application and Incorporation documents which should be sent to the Secretary of State no later than Monday, April 26th.

I have some website domains picked out and hope to lock these down this week yet.

I am thinking that I would value having an Advisory Board with a diverse set of skill sets.  Time is always precious but if you have an interest please let me know.  I will only serve as a volunteer (no income) and would seek volunteers for a Board.

We will likely need a Market Manager based on everyone's advice but that is down the road.

Enough for today but the ideas are flowing hard.
