Last night, the Woodridge Village Board voted 4-2 against the development of the massive warehouse along Lemont Road. We are grateful for the Trustees who voted against this project.  They put residents first and have shown that they have a better vision for Woodridge.  We are grateful to the Board and Mayor for allowing our voices to be heard and for reading and listening to the hundreds of comments sent in by residents.  We are grateful to those of you who expressed your opinions and had the courage to stand by them.  This was a group effort and it could not have been accomplished without the help of all of you.

Trustees noted last night that Woodridge needs to revisit their comprehensive plan before allowing something like this to go in.  We agree.  We hope to provide input on developing this land responsibly.  We hope this will allow the landowners to sell and move on with their lives without having a detrimental impact on the Lemont Road corridor.
