Tracking refrigerator temperatures in assisted living facilities is a critical safety and compliance measure designed to prevent foodborne illness, ensure the efficacy of medications, and meet regulatory standards. Although I’m sure this documentation will be discarded and one will be forged to show that refrigerator temperatures are being tracked efficiently and effectively but that is not the case at all. Therefore any medications that require being refrigerated including but not limited to dietary supplement drinks, insulins and diabetic medications, we have no way of knowing if they’re being stored at the appropriate temperature because it is not being tracked properly.
