Resort Council backs down and second concert is back on

Unfortunately, Councillors for the Resort Municipality of Stanley Bridge, Hope River, Bayview, Cavendish and North Rustico have changed their vote and have now approved an application for a second summer music festival in Cavendish.  It is scheduled the weekend following CBMF.

I have sent an email to the Resort Municipality expressing my disappointment and once again pointed out why scheduling the concert in the shoulder season would have been a better decision for all.  They say this is for one year only, but as we all know, people book their accommodations well in advance for CBMF and will likely do the same for this new Sommo Festival.  Once it has been held in July, it will never change.
