Hello Rio Grande Plan Fans, 

Thank you for signing our petition to build the Rio Grande Plan and begin to reconnect our community. We are going to be a very active group as things in SLC are moving fast with all the changes to downtown. We are glad you are here and are willing to help make this citizen proposal a reality. 

Tomorrow at 0900 Mountain Time, UTA has their bimonthly Board of Trustees meeting. Public comment is accepted at all of these meetings. The meetings occur the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. The next one is scheduled to have a mention of their Olympic plans, and since the Rio Grande Plan is a great Olympic project, we want to encourage the signers of this petition to speak up to UTA. We kindly request that you ask them in a nice way to back the Rio Grande Plan.

You can make your comments in person (at the UTA Headquarters) or virtually - whichever you prefer. More information here on their meeting page. 

UTA is critical for the Rio Grande Plan to succeed since it will be their trains that will depart and arrive multiple times a day bringing people to and from the Depot. Showing them that there are people who want to see the Rio Grande Plan built is something we must accomplish to really increase ridership like they want.
