I would like to thank everyone who has signed this petition so far as I never expected it to reach nearly 500 signatures in such a short time. What prompted me to start this was the very dismissive letter I received from the council after I appealed against a parking fine.
I have been very touched  by the support this petition has received and would really appreciate it if you can share this with your family and friends. It will make life so much easier for disabled  badge holders if they can be exempted from schools or residents only roads. They are really struggling with day to day life and I hope that we can all be of help to make life easier for them. 
England is such a beautiful place when we are surrounded  with people like all of you who are so ready to help when it is for a good cause. Thank you all again and hope the signatures keep rising .
