When I started this petition, I never imagined how many people would connect with this message. I was simply a mom trying to make sure my child’s struggles, and the struggles of so many other children, were met with understanding instead of judgment.

This is bigger than one family.
This is bigger than one situation.

This is about creating a system where children who have already experienced trauma are not unintentionally given more.
