Will you attend the Board meeting? Petitioning the board has earned us the right to address this petition during the regular meeting. I am going to speak at the ACSA Board meeting. Will you take your 3 minutes to urge the Board to take action? Will you pick up the baton if I hand it to you?
**Below is a copy of the communication just sent to the ACSA Board of Directors, via email for your information and notification**
Good evening, ACSA Board of Directors.
Since you have had the last several weeks to review the communications, I want to formalize the opportunity to address the Board of which you spoke.
- To clarify further your mention of all residents having an opportunity to address the Board, I request in accordance with Florida Statutes 720.303 3. (d) that since 20 percent of the total voting interests have petitioned the board to address an item of business, that the Board take the petitioned item up on the agenda during its next regular scheduled board meeting (shown on the ACSA calendar as scheduled for October 31st, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00pm) and give each Member the right to speak on the matter during the regular meeting, prior to finalizing the 2025 Budget.
- As noted in the ACSA - Document / Rules, Regulations, Policies regarding Recording Board Meetings, I am submitting a written notice to the Chairperson of the planned regular meeting of the ACSA board on October 31st, 2024 that I am planning to record the proceedings of this meeting, with this notice being provided at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting.
Again as stated in my email of 10/01/2024 at 10:05am, we have over 100 member/doors as signatures on the petition, including residents of (now fifteen (15)) of the sub HOAs of Aquarina:
- Blue Heron**,
- Cranes Point,
- Egret Trace**,
- The Hammocks
- Hawks Nest,
- Les Villas,
- The Marlin**,
- Maritime Hammocks,
- Osprey Villas**,
- Ocean Dunes,
- Ocean Breeze**,
- River Oaks,
- Sandpiper Cove,
- Spoonbill**, and
- Sea Hawk.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
P.S. I informed the board that this email is also being sent to petition signers, for their information and notification.
On a personal note: on Friday I was called self-serving, obvious and underhanded. Not something I would want on a t-shirt - but I have a feeling my daughter will make one for me anyway. When someone gets personal like that I have to believe that we are either in the final stretch, or getting ready for a long haul. I'm all in. Could really use your support.
