Only a little over a week to go to our fundraiser in St Martin's Church, Vicars Road, Gospel Oak https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/midsummer-community-day-fundraiser-for-the-cafes-campaign-tickets-1990700486744?aff=oddtdtcreator -- we have confirmed our headlining band, the The Cure tribute band The InCureables, our winemaker has her Eurostar ticket and there's more music happening throughout the day. Kentish Town City Farm can't bring their goats for petting encounters, but we will be taking a group across (a few hundred yards away) and we have alternative plans for animals onsite. The drinks licence is in place. The Revd Andrew Kwapong will be revealing the secrets of 'London's Craziest Church' as it's described by the architecture critic Nicholas Pevsner, and kids can learn the secrets of bell ringing -- this church has some of the finest bells in London -- as well as a wonderful organ, and we have a recital booked. Plus our great barrister and hopefully others of our legal team will be there, and we have plans to share heads-ups and confidential insights from a campaign they never believed would get off the ground. Plus falafel and falafel classes. See you there !
