📢 Day 62: Advocating Out Loud 📢

🌟 Tomorrow marks a pivotal moment for our advocacy efforts. The County Supervisors meeting could very well be the start of an ongoing dialogue that shapes the future of SUD treatment services in our community.

🔍 KernBHRS Update: Today’s meeting with KernBHRS leadership was a significant step forward. We managed to clarify and resolve most of the discrepancies regarding the services provided. However, we encountered a setback due to an information population error on our end, which might cost us nearly half of what we are owed. Currently, the county is not allowing us to resubmit the corrected data, a decision we hope to challenge.

⏳ Goals for Tomorrow's Supervisors Meeting:

To Be Heard and Acknowledged: It’s crucial that our concerns and the voices of those we represent are genuinely heard by the decision-makers.
To Secure a Spot on the Agenda: We aim to discuss a master agreement or secure an emergency grant that will enable us to continue providing essential services without interruption.

🤝 Stand With Us: The support of our community at tomorrow's meeting can make a monumental difference. By showing up, you help amplify our call for accountability and sustainability in healthcare services. Tuesday March 20 at 9:00 AM and possibly 2:00 PM at 1115 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California

🌍 Spread the Word: Share this message, encourage friends and family to get involved, and let’s ensure our collective voice is too strong to be ignored. Tomorrow, we advocate not just for recognition but for real change. #AdvocatingOutLoud
