Precept for 2025-26 to be reduced to £5,000

I'm writing to give you all an update, and it's good news.

At the Parish Council meeting on 9th January councillors agreed that the precept for the coming year will be a sum total of £5000. Down from £97,000 last year.

Stroud District Council as the billing authority will work out how that is to be divided per household according to Tax Band, but you can expect to be paying much much less for the coming year.
