Radicalized individuals can commit heinous acts entirely due to a diet of misinformation. Real world examples are everywhere, from the January 6 insurrectionists belief in a secret cabal stealing the election, to the many QAnon conspiracies that led to a man walking into a pizza place with a gun demanding to see the stolen children liberals were sacrificing in their basement.

We desperately need the ability to recognize the truth for what it is online, otherwise no truth is trustworthy. That’s why we created this campaign, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for lending your voice to this cause.
