On behalf of Cult Beauty, Dr Luke Evans and Mental Health UK, we want to thank you for signing our ‘Body Image Transparency’ petition. Your signature not only helps to raise awareness but, we're hoping it could galvanise creators, influencers and the Government to implement guidelines surrounding responsible imagery editing. 

Digital manipulation — particularly when it comes to body proportions — perpetuates unrealistic, often unattainable standards of beauty which can have a devastating impact on our mental health as we cited in our petition. These frightening statistics mean an urgent shift is needed and with your support, this change is possible. 

Some of our brilliant brands — Weleda, Glow Recipe, The Nue Co., Megababe and Herlum — have already committed and over 26,000 of you have supported the petition which will signal to Government the public support and collective ambition for labelling images when body proportions have been digitally manipulated.

Our Can’t (Re)Touch This campaign and our ‘Beauty Untouched’ labelling are our first steps towards greater representation. There’s a long way to go to dismantle outdated ideals and present the broad, beautiful breadth of society but, we’re on a mission to reframe the ‘flaws’ we’ve historically vilified and cultivate a culture of acceptance.
