Hopefully, Texas will follow the lead of the State of Illinois and Suffolk County, New York and pass Legislation that will see Kari's Law be enacted. Our Legislature meets every two years and they will convene on January 13, 2015 so we will keep our fingers crossed and hope that the powers that be see the danger posed to the public by this simple to fix problem in 99% of cases involving MLTS/PBX phone systems. Give a shout to your local stations to cover this oversight in time for the Holiday travelers to be aware that this problem exists! Light up the phones so to speak! Share, share, share!!
