SUCCESS!

After 2+ years, the (larger representation) of voices from the constituents of Darebin councils have had their pleas heard and the 'Palestinian' flag has been removed, and a new law has been passed that no other flags other than the Australian, Aboriginal and Torres strait flags will be flown on council buildings unless mandated by federal law.

 

Thank you to the representatives from Labour for filing and voting to pass this motion once and for all.

 

Finally, a neutral stance for a complicated and centuries old issue that has no bearing on local council, as it should have always been.
