We respectfully draw attention to the current political climate within the United States, which could potentially create an unsafe environment during the 2028 Summer Olympics. We are deeply concerned about the safety of foreign travelers, gender non-conforming individuals, people of color, or anyone expressing dissent towards the current US administration. The uncertainty and hostility accompanying these circumstances run contrary to the spirit of unity and global camaraderie that the Olympics symbolize. We urge the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to act promptly and consider relocating the 2028 Summer Olympics to a country where inclusivity, safety, and freedom of opinion are upheld. We strongly request that the IOC refuse to host any games in the US until the administration exhibits a significant positive change in its stance towards diversity and inclusivity.
