To help protect the Djab Wurrung community’s sacred Area and Large Old Trees.

Environment Minister Sussan Ley is about to make a decision on the Djab Wurrung applications for protection of the Area and Trees, while Parliament is in recession and the while  Australian community is focused on the COVID-19 threat.

Please telephone Senator Ley’s Electorate Office in Albury (02) 6021 3264 or in Griffith (02) 6964 1212 and ask to speak to her Chief of Staff or Advisor, (give your name and ask for their name), with the following messages:

Please make a fair and respectful decision to protect our Australian environment and cultural heritage, by making declarations to preserve and protect the area and objects for which the Djab Wurrung Traditional Owners applied for protection in June 2018. Please record my name with this message.
