I tried a lot of things to draw attention to this matter.  Some personal outreach as I described earlier through some contacts from the people at endangeredlanguages.com, and more recently with the The Service for Indigenous Regional Languages in Belgium.  And some posts on social media that got a lot of views.  In the end I have to thank Andreas Simons of Maastricht University for his outreach.
