I wanted to update you all and say that the petition is doing better than expected! We’ve reached over 100 signatures and more than 1,000 views, which is quite significant for a cause like ours! I’d like to thank you all for your support and for actively contributing to this cause.
The main purpose of this petition is to raise awareness about this situation. It's unlikely that we will receive reimbursement, as the festival is currently facing a debt of about 150k. By sharing this petition, we’ve learned that, in addition to us, local djs, performers, and other workers have not been paid either. Furthermore, even the vendors have not been reimbursed for the tickets they needed to enter.
In conclusion, while this petition is important, it leaves a bitter taste. We should never have had to reach this point. I’m sure we all had a great time at the festival, but we were also misled and disrespected. A festival is not just about music and money—it’s a way of seeing the world, a fairer one, I hope.
