We know that this is a tumultuous time for our nation, and seek help in finding leadership for the millions of individuals who believe in social justice.  We need coordination.  We need our elected officials to stand up for what is right and just.

As a first step toward action, we seek the guidance of the Massachusetts Legislature regarding submitting a statement similar to that of the California Legislative Leaders (http://www.thewrap.com/leaders-california- legislature-denounce-election- donald-trump-president/).  We feel this is a key way for the Democratic leadership of our state to ensure our values are heard and appreciate your consideration.
