Although it is going slowly, there has been some progress in making this crossing safer for our students. Here is where we are at:

-The principal at Lord Roberts PS is submitting a boundary exemption to transportation services to allow the Old East community to access a bus to get to and home from school without having to cross Adelaide Street as a pedestrian.

-The ward 4 councilor, Susan Stevenson spoke with me on Sept 18th and is looking into what the city can do to improve pedestrian safety at this location. She has committed to touching base with me by Sept 25th and a possible location visit to understand what the issues are.
