SENIOR Dog Dive 2024 -- 11 year old. 16'2"

Unfortunately, few stray dogs will have the opportunity to become senior dogs.  They will leave us very young, with rare possibilities of becoming rescued dogs, best friends and senior dogs.   Hopefully, nonsurgical, easy-to-use, inexpensive contraceptive products will reduce the overpopulation of suffering strays.  This smaller population of strays will have better rescue possibilities.   The Michelson Prize and grants hopes to reduce the population of suffering strays.

“Michelson Prize & Grants.

How do they support research and innovation in this area?

The Michelson Prize & Grants in Reproductive Biology is an undertaking of the Found Animals Foundation to incentivize research in reproductive biology and other fields, with the ultimate aim of developing a permanent, single-dose non-surgical sterilant for male and female cats and dogs. The Michelson Prize & Grants program has designated $50 million in grant funding and a $25 million prize to the researcher(s) who can develop a product that meets the program’s criteria.   ‘The prize has the potential to stimulate research allowing for ground-breaking approaches in pet sterilization to emerge.’Joyce Briggs, ACC&D President”
