Recent news media interview , we can not let TC enforce these laws with mandatory training, insurance and other outrageous laws, it will take away the hobby from your 14 year old son. This is purely a money grab and we need our voice out there with news and educate the public. There are more people and animals killed by Kites and no federal laws in Canada to fly kites. There has never been a person killed with operating a 500g drone or even a 25 KG UAV. We need to take a stand now . We are seeking anyone in Calgary to contact Global news and provide some education and our side of the story. TC will enforce these laws and expect to pay hundreds of dollars annually to fly your newly purchased RC UAV. Don’t let the private enterprise take advantage of these laws and make deals with our appointed politicians.
