We urge the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to replace the traditional Olympic equestrian sport – expensive, environmentally damaging, and ethically highly controversial – in the future with the modern, fair, and animal-friendly sport of Hobby Horsing (Stick Horse Riding).

Why Hobby Horsing is the Superior Olympic Discipline:

1. TRUE ATHLETICS INSTEAD OF PASSIVITY

In traditional equestrian sports, the animal performs the majority of the measurable work. In Hobby Horsing, however, the athlete does everything themselves:

• Jumping Power? All in the calves.
• Endurance? Sheer lung capacity.
• Coordination? Essential for not tripping over the stick horse friend.

Finally, a discipline where the medal truly belongs to the human effort – and not to the horse, which gets nothing from the medal in the end anyway!

2. ANIMAL WELFARE & SUSTAINABILITY

Wir fordern das Internationale Olympische Komitee (IOC) auf, den traditionellen olympischen Reitsport – teuer, umweltschädlich und ethisch hoch umstritten – künftig durch den modernen, fairen und tierfreundlichen Sport des Hobby Horsing (Steckenpferdreiten) zu ersetzen.

Warum Hobby Horsing die Überlegene Olympische Disziplin ist:

1. ECHTE ATHLETIK STATT PASSIVITÄT

Im traditionellen Reitsport leistet das Tier den Großteil der messbaren Arbeit. Beim Hobby Horsing vollbringt der Athlet jedoch alles selbst:

• Sprungkraft? Alles aus den Waden.
• Ausdauer? Reine Lungenkapazität.
• Koordination? Essenziell, um nicht über den Steckenpferd-Freund zu stolpern.

Unsere Forderung:

Es ist Zeit für echten Fortschritt. Hobby Horsing ist modern, fair, umweltfreundlich – und der notwendige Schritt hin zu einem zeitgemäßen olympischen Programm.

Wir fordern das IOC dringend auf, die Zukunft des Sports zu wählen, den Reitsport aus dem olympischen Programm zu nehmen und Hobby Horsing offiziell zur olympischen Disziplin zu machen!
