Thank you for reaching out and sharing the community's interest in the Enders-Salk playground.

As it turns out, the Schaumburg Park District has already scheduled the Enders-Salk playground for replacement in 2027 as part of our ongoing capital improvement program.

Prior to replacing a playground, we typically host a public open house to gather feedback from residents regarding the design and features of the new playground. We anticipate holding this meeting in spring of 2027.

As part of that process, we will post notices at the existing playground, reach out to neighboring residents, and coordinate with our partners at School District 54 to encourage community participation.

We appreciate hearing from our residents and always welcome their thoughts and suggestions as we continue working to provide quality parks and recreational opportunities for our community.

Thank you again for reaching out!
