We had a wildly successful rally on Sunday, March 12th that was attended by Council Member Yeger, Council Member Kagan, Assembly Member David Weprin, nine candidates for City Council and numerous community groups. While a group made up largely of paid lobbyists from pro-congestion pricing groups plotted to "drown us out" with unpermitted siren, bullhorns, etc, we would not let that happen. Our protest was picked up by NY1, NBC, ABC, FOX, and WPIX, not to mention various print publications including three Chinese newspapers! Our rally was made up of REAL New Yorkers from all parties, religions, and walks of life. From the Asian Wave Alliance to The Black Institute, from Truckers to Cabbies, from young and old, and from Democrats to Republicans, ours is a diverse and grass roots effort! We have made incredible progress in a short period of time and we thank you for being a part of it!
