Rep. Ken Calvert has endorsed the Bicentennial Mural. He joins several cities, Assembly Member Eric Linder, the Corona Norco Unified School District, the Orange County Water District and a citizen lead movement in Uniting the Inland Empire. We thank Congressman Calvert for his gracious endorsement of the mural. He also stated that all the stakeholders must work closely with the Corps of Engineers to determine the appropriate manner in which to restore the Bicentennial Mural. By way of these endorsements, it is now clear there is overwhelming support for the Bicentennial mural. The Corps owns the spillway the mural is on and is currently reviewing the mural for the National Register of Historic Places. We now look forward to hearing from the Los Angeles District Army Corps of Engineers. As soon as the Army Corps releases a statement on the future of mural, we will pass it on!
