When you come out to the Inland Empire you see an amazing,
work of art and the largest monument to freedom on the entire West Coast. It's not a scene from a battle field or anyone holding a gun. This memorial welcomes all, with the words 200 years of liberty a hundred and twenty feet tall. It's the Prado Dam Bicentennial Mural.
If you don't want this monument to your freedom destroyed, you
need to attend the April 9th meeting at Corona High. Because the Army Corps of Engineers, Congressman Ken Calvert and The majority of the Corona City Council have for months, refused to commit their total support to restore the Bicentennial Mural, now marked to be blown off the spillway on April 27th.
Instead, they are all there to propose a contest for a new design. Can you imagine New Yorkers allowing this to happen to the Statue Of Liberty when She had fallen to mass corrosion and infrastructure failure.
To save this great monument, please go to link below below and commit your attendance on our Facebook Page. If not on Facebook you can go to FriendsOfThePradoDamMural.com and leave a message at the bottom of the page.
