Hundreds of women across America choose to abort their children, for a multitude of reasons. This allows them the freedom to do whatever they chose with their bodies, and although in certain cases abortions are not easily accessible due to state legislation that has made them more difficult to access, men do not have this same luxury. Men are forced into parenthood or child support payments that in some cases they cannot afford, and that sole decision is based on the mother’s wishes, regardless of what the man wants.

A man should be able to make the same decision a mother can, and chose not to parent a child, forfeiting all parental and legal rights and responsibilities associated with childbirth, so long as this decision is made before the child is born.
