On the evening of Tuesday 7th October, the new community campaign group, Tram Trains for Edinburgh, hosted a public event at the Edinburgh City Chambers, organised by Cllr Tim Pogson. The group aims to build on the momentum created by the Heriot-Watt University Students’ South Sub Tram-Train proposal to campaign to finally reopen the South Sub after over 60 years.
The group has launched a public survey where you can have your say on how to direct the campaign, and we encourage you to share your views.
As a community group formed by volunteers, we rely on support through membership or expertise. If you would like to get involved in the campaign, please email tramtrainsedi@gmail.com
The group also aims to host events along the South Sub to engage local communities and share updates on the campaign.
Thank you for your support thus far! You’ve already made a difference by showing the strong support there is for reopening the South Sub!
