Lots of Updates:
- HCSO Detective, John David Swartz, was allowed to retire in July of 2026, instead of losing his job, as if nothing ever happened, as if our family has not been suffering for 3 years due to the decisions, actions and inactions of this detective.
- Deputy Kyle Clenin was released from his position with HCSO August of 2025. These records are closed so we have no idea if this was in relation to his actions and inactions in regard to Chance's case.
- We were made aware the end of July 2026, that the "Civilian" in Chance Edmiston's case, was actually a Reserve Deputy HCSO withheld from Chance Edmiston's entire case file.
- HCSO sent 5 staff members to Kentucky for training in suspicious death cases, evidence collection and preservation.
- Coroner Dain Sisk left his position voluntarily as of 2024.
- Prosecutor LaCrisha Gray is being replaced by a new prosector. The date for that replacement is unknown at this time.
