Cr Bull has said via his FaceBook page: "The decision to no longer fund this service was one reason why I did not support this year’s budget - although I acknowledge it is Council’s prerogative to make such a decision. I believe though that there is an opportunity for Council to recommence providing immunisation services, and so I will put forward a motion at the next Ordinary Council Meeting (Tuesday 23 August) requesting Council to resolve to do so.
To fund this, I will ask for one road resurfacing project be delayed (effectively redirecting $120,000 from a road resurfacing budget of around $2.6million, in order to pay for the service to 30 June 2023)."
