I'm petitioning to allows pets in all rental homes in B.C, Canada. There is a 1% rental availability in the Fraser Valley right now and almost nobody will allow pets in their rental homes. This means people with family and pets are unable to find shelter. Please join me in making it illegal for landlords to refuse pets in a rental home. It is unfair for the refusal of pets, almost everyone has pets and they're part of the family. Getting rid of pets would be traumatizing to children in the family and is completely unacceptable. Landlords already have rules and deposits to protect them from pet damage so i believe its unacceptable and discrimination to not allow pets. If we don't make this a law we're gonna greatly increase the number of pets that are deserted and put down. Please help eliminate the pet discrimination.
